Mama Mia - the movie

I have just seen Mama Mia the movie and despite the constant hype being dished up . . . am I alone in thinking that it was utter drivel and much worse, was not very funny !

What a squandering of Julie Walters talents, one our finest character actresses and a very funny comedienne. As for poor old Pierce Brosnan's singing. . well say no more !

If it was not for the unforgettable ABBA songs it would most certainly be lost in the annals of time and filed under "biggest flop of 2008"
